The healing ability of classes like shadow priest ret paladin balance druid feral druid is far far from any actual healer and quite a few of the tanks. Rogues themselves are self healing like crazy now compare that to then with no self healing. Or a shadow priest can not just start to heal in the middle of things (they can do something but it is not good) Since we are NOT the main source of damage anymore,īut yeah the problem is that you missunderstand how the classes work now.Ī ret paladin can not just suddenly start to heal as an example. I don’t care if I become a healer and not a damage dealer anymore. If you think this idea is stupid, then why are priest damage dealers?
Since we are NOT the main source of damage anymore, how about giving us the fun you gave to the druids, priest and paladin and give us rogue a new meta role? Why does it go one way and not another? In pvp you hardly get any heal anymore (it happens, but it’s rare). What happens is that since all these healer class decided to go for damage, it means there are fewer healers running around. Now they’re as good as rogues in that field. (For people who don’t know, they could make some dmg in the past but they kinda sucked).
It must have been REALLY fun for paladins, priest and druid to become “real” damage dealers. The problem I noticed is that rogue aren’t the main source of damage anymore.
Now I’ve been back for a month now and even though many things have changed from 2008, I still enjoy this game. and also because I finished my studies and started to work. The issue warriors have in PVP is they will struggle without a healer constantly dispelling and healing them.ĭiscipline Priest: A strong healer slightly behind the Restoration Druid, can bring defensive cooldowns for their team and some extra damage when searching for that game-winning kill.I started playing WoW hardcore mode back in 2005 till end 2008 and quit at the end of BC because I had all major content done at the time. Its high burst damage partnered with its mortal strike ability (50% healing reduction) makes it a strong pick for the arena. A TierĪrms Warrior: Arms warrior is typically the primary spec for warrior throughout the history of World of Warcraft. Strong CC, high damage over time, and the utility it can bring make it a strong choice for the arena. SL/SL refers to Soul Link (Demonology talent) and Siphon Life (Affliction Talent). Warlock: SL / SL Warlock was a strong talent setup in Classic and will continue being taken into TBC. They have the best CC in the game, insane burst damage, and strong defensive on a short cooldown. Subtlety Rogue: Need I say more? Rogue has never been a bad pick in the arena and in TBC is no different. Restoration Druid: The restoration druid benefits from some nice changes going into TBC, primarily their hots become a lot stronger, they have amazing crowd control abilities, strong defensive abilities, and are hard to lockdown.
